Summer

Summer loving happened so fast as the popular song says.  After shopping in Tesco’s, I popped into the local pet shop for some finch seed and came out with a rabbit. When I approached the cage, she hopped over to have her face rubbed.  She was desperate for attention.  So I enquired about her history.  It unfolded that she had been in the shop for 7 months.  I was told she was too ugly to sell and they now didn’t know what to do with her.  So that’s how we met.  Now she is 4 years old and thinks she is a dog.  

She lives with our other 2 house rabbits, Michael and Bubble (They are all neutered).  She took it on herself to introduce herself to the boys, they were overwhelmed by her insistence that she lived with them and soon gave up protesting!  She is a wonderful character, really intelligent, funny, pushy and as you can see from her photos, a real beauty.  We are proud to have her share our lives.

Michael

Michael is a little dwarf bunny.  He was born on guy fawkes night.  I got him after losing my wonderful mini lop Jake Sisko.  He is the boss of the trio.  He is 6 years old and we have had him since he was 8 weeks.  He boxes the dogs on the nose if he is sick of their attention.  He adores Bubble and Summer. He hates going out in the garden and will do whatever it takes to get back inside the house!

Bubble

Bubble was 0ne of nine.  His parents and his siblings were all short haired, medium to small rabbits.

Bubble is a great big, long haired lump of a bunny.  He is 5 years old and a complete push over.  He hasn’t a mean bone in his body.  Everyone falls in love with him on sight.  He is the George Clooney of the rabbit world.  He loves the garden but is always out voted by Summer and Michael who always want to come in.  He loves to pretend he is a lop, letting his long ears just drape down the side of his head when he is relaxed, but he isn’t. Its just his ears are huge and sometimes he gets sick of holding them up!
