Gunni

Gunni is an imported African Grey. Her owner realised he could not give her a good quality of life, so he asked if we would take her in permanently.

A real character. Talks in Hindi & English & is extremely  tame now.

Troy

Troy’s owners became allergic to her feather dust and so she joined the group.

She has health problems that we are getting on top of.

Sophie

Sophie is an English bred grey who has an enormous sense of humour.

This is her 4 th. home and her final one!

Yorkie

Yorkie is a very intelligent African Grey Hen, her owners said she talked too much. Always on the go and getting into mischief. Requires a lot of patience which is well rewarded.

Charlie

Charlie is a special needs parrot.  She is now entering her teens but has learning difficulties.  She doesn’t catch on to things as quickly as the other 5 girls and lives with our old girl Troy, who is like a mentor to her. She used to live with our other old girl Sammy who passed away a few years ago.  It seems she always gets on better with the older less playful hens.  They don’t worry her so much as the younger ones who are full of cheek.
